^14:19 The angel swung his sickle on the earth, gathered its grapes and threw them into the great winepress of God’s wrath.

The ANGEL swung his SICKLE on the earth,

The tense of the verb "SWUNG" implies that this gathering event (next verse, Revelation 16:16, and Revelation 19:19) is completed in the future over some span of time. As we will see, the seven bowls are a part of this vintage.

gathered its GRAPES and

CLUSTERS are groupings of grapes. This implies that the vintage will work on various areas. These areas are what man, a product of the earth (Genesis 2:7), take pride in. Follow the seven bowls in each of their "CLUSTERS" area, and note how it is an area man has taken some measures to control.

threw them into the GREAT WINEPRESS of God’s WRATH.

The concept of "GOD'S WRATH" is difficult for those of us 'under grace'. But it exists, and it is Christ Himself who executes it (Revelation 19:15).

The seven bowls of chapter 16 are a direct reference to the WRATH OF GOD.
