TOPICS for CHAPTER 10:

This Chapter has been called, "The Author's Chapter." Rather than being about "prophesy" per se, it is about the writer, John, and his ministry.

The Revelation takes a breather to prepare us for the worst judgments (still to come).

John sees another strong angel who is carrying an open little book. When seven thunders speak, John is about to write it down (see Revelation 1:11), but a voice stops him from doing so.

The 'guide' angel swears by the everlasting Father and Creator that there will be no more delay. The seventh trumpet will FINISH GOD's MYSTERY.

The angel tells John to eat the book. He does, and finds its taste is as sweet as honey. But John's stomach complains that it is BITTER.

John is told that he must PROPHESY again about many peoples, nations, languages, and kings. In fact, this is about the whole world.
