John sees four angels ready to harm the earth, sea, and trees.
A third of the earth, trees, and grass is burned up. Perhaps, this is what a solar micronova would do to the earth.
A third of the sea is destroyed.
A third of the waters are poisoned.
A third of the sun, moon, and stars are darkened.
An angel in mid-air announces the sounding of the last 3 trumpets using the words, "WOE, WOE, WOE". The abyss is opened. LOCUSTS come forth with a powerful sting. For five months, these LOCUSTS torment all unbelievers who do NOT have the Seal of GOD on their foreheads. Human beings SEEK death but it eludes them.
The first four trumpet judgments are inflicted directly upon NATURE. The fifth and sixth trumpets are directly affecting MAN. Did people die as a result of the first four trumpets (Revelation 8:11)?
When this angel sounds his TRUMPET, 200 million mounted troops are readied to come from the east to kill a third of remaining people.
These aren't ordinary horses. Out of their mouths comes fire, smoke and brimestone, which are the plagues that kill the people.
Amazingly, the unbelievers who survive this judgment, STILL do not repent of their idolatry, demon worship, and/or corrupt lifestyle.
