The white horseman in verse 2 denotes a period of "uneasy" peace. BUT once PEACE is removed from the earth, all elements of society, political and religious, will fight one with another TO DEATH. If the Comforter, Holy Spirit, is the One who restrains all out war, then for this event to take place, one would conclude that the Holy Spirit has been removed from active duty on this earth. He may have come up in the "raptured" saints, as some believe Revelation 4:1 indicates. We are seeing the first vestages of this in our society today where teenagers and young adults are killing each other without remorse and without even the slightest respect for life itself, apparently.
