Everything is now new -- the first things of the universe have passed away. John sees a new heaven and a new earth. He sees New Jerusalem coming down out of heaven. A voice from the throne tells of God dwelling among His people and removing forever all tears, death and pain. The Alpha and Omega reaffirms for the readers of Revelation that His promis to give the water of life to those who thirst. Those who are not His sons must suffer in the lake of fire and brimstone.
