TOPICS for CHAPTER 11
John is told to measure God's temple, its altar, and those who worship in it. He is not to measure the outer court, which is given to Gentile nations.
Two Witnesses of God prophesy for 1260 days. During this period, they are protected from harm.
When those days are over, the beast kills the Two Witnesses, and their bodies lie on the street, while the people look on in merriment.
After three and a half days, God raises the Two Witnesses up again with His breath. As they go up to heaven in a cloud, their enemies look on, terrified. Wonder why?
When the seventh angel sounds his trumpet, voices in heaven and the 24 elders praise God for His eternal Kingdom. In their prophetic perspective they see Him exercising His GREAT POWER and beginning to reign.
The time has come for the dead to be judged. The saints will be rewarded, but destroyers will be destroyed.
John sees the ark of God's covenant in the opened sanctuary in heaven. Surrounding this vision, there is lightning, thunder, an earthquake and a hailstorm.
