A voice from the Temple in heaven tells the seven angels to pour out the BOWLS of God's wrath upon the earth. The first BOWL brings painful sores on those who have the mark of the beast. With the second, the sea turns into blood and all the things living in it die. The third BOWL turns the rivers and springs of water into blood. The fourth BOWL gives power to scorch men with fierce heat, and the fifth darkens the beast's kingdom and brings agony to men. For the fourth and fifth BOWLS, the people blaspheme God and do not repent of their deeds.
