John sees four angels ready to harm the earth, sea and trees. But first, 144,000 Isrealites are sealed from that harm, because they are bondservants of God (like John, the Revelation's scriber was a bondservant also). Then John hears two songs of praise -- one to God and the Lamb, sung by a great multitude of saints from every nation and tribe; and the other to God, sung by all the worshiping angels. One of the twenty-four elders identifies the saints as those who come out of the great tribulation, saved by the blood of the Lamb, serving God continually.
