Summary: I, John, your Christian brother, was on the island of Patmos because of my testimony for Jesus. On the Lord's day I was in the Spirit, and a voice told me to write the visions I would see, and send them to the seven churches of Asia. The One who was speaking was like the Son of Man. He was standing among seven lampstands, the churches.
The sight of Him was awesome. I fell at His feet as dead. I was afraid until He touched me with His RIGHT HAND. He calmed my fears saying that He is the Living One. He is alive forevermore. He stood there with the seven angels of the churches in His right hand.
